Six months ago, the way I had been for a long time changed. Faith was still here, but Addie was gone. The summer of 2009 was spent in Addie's absence, and nothing Faith could do could change it. After a many many attempts to bring her back, I was very close to giving up.
But on Thursday I got a job working in the kitchen of the University Inn. It feels good to be working in a restaurant kitchen again. I didn't really think I'd get to see the old Addie again, but I was wrong.
She's back.
