Stand In The Rain

Okay, for some reason I'm posting a lot of lyrics on here. I have no idea why, so hopefully y'all don't mind too much. :)

Well, tonight's lyrics come from Superchick. Cheesy name, I know. But I absolutely LOVE the song. The beat is good, her voice is *really* good, the lyrics are *very* good, and all that put together = amazing.

The beginning of the song is deceptive. It starts out sounding like it might be a lullaby, but then the drums creep in about half way through the first verse. Subtle, you hardly notice anything spectacular. But then comes that first line of the chorus, and I get the shivers like nothing you know. The vocals are *amazing*, and particularly in the first line of the chorus. They make the entire song take off. And the drums and guitar follow closely behind, backing the vocals up, and making all the more strong. And lets not forget the violins in the second verse. They remind me a lot of the songs 24 and Bittersweet Symphony, if any of you have heard either of those. AMAZING violin part.

Anyhow, even if rockish music isn't exactly to your taste, just listening to the lyrics in this song is enough to make you love this song.
